Born in France, Nathalie Templer studied chemistry before starting out in a small business in Grasse. It was here that she acquired in-depth knowledge of the many facets of the perfume industry, from production to quality control and research and development.

Her career took off when she joined the Mane group, where she worked for a decade as a perfume analyst, becoming an expert in gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. There she honed her skills in the analysis of natural and synthetic raw materials. This enabled her to familiarise herself with high-quality ingredients, which she continues to use in her creations today. 

In 2016, Nathalie Templer joined perfume creation company Expression Parfumée. At Expression Parfumée, she feels fully integrated into the creative department, where she can finally express herself as a perfumer. Her work at Expression Parfumée, now under the Givaudan umbrella, allows her to benefit from cutting-edge resources and innovations, particularly when it comes to the group's captive raw materials and exclusive molecules. 

Nathalie Templer's creative approach is marked by a deep respect for the balance and simplicity of formulas. She prefers to work with reduced formulas, where each ingredient has a precise and meaningful role. This philosophy is reflected in her compositions, which are sophisticated but always portable, combining innovation and elegance. Unlike some designers, she doesn't try to be different for the sake of being different, but focuses on the harmony and wearability of her fragrances.

Now based in Dubai, Nathalie Templer excels at adapting creations to local tastes, where fragrance performance and durability are particularly sought after. Her expertise, combined with an in-depth knowledge of natural and synthetic raw materials, enables her to meet the most demanding requirements of Middle Eastern markets, such as the fragrances she has created for the niche perfume brand PARFUMS DE MARLY or for LE MAITRE DES PARFUMS.
