FLORIAN GALLO

Florian Gallo, a renowned perfumer, has a remarkable energy and love for discovering new scents that reflect his passion for perfumery. Born with a natural curiosity, Florian was fascinated by the world of perfumery at an early age. He frequently visited Grasse during his family holidays and was drawn to the magic of fragrance. It was this fascination that inspired him to pursue a career in perfumery.

Florian embarked on his journey by enrolling in courses at the Versailles School of Perfumery and then later at ISIPCA and Robertet in Grasse. During his studies, he traveled extensively to Argentina and England, where he gained invaluable experience and exposure to new cultures.

Today, Florian is a perfumer at Firmenich in Shanghai, China, where he embraces the local culture and society. He is the first perfumer to work out of the atelier office and is passionate about the new technologies and ingredients that Firmenich offers to enhance his perfumery palette. Florian believes that Artificial Intelligence is a powerful tool with which to create fragrances more precisely and is excited to explore its potential.

Apart from perfumery, Florian has a passion for cooking and enjoys creating combinations of spicy flavors, inherited from his Armenian mother. His love for cooking and experimenting with different flavors also serves as a source of inspiration in his perfumery creations.
