DAVID SETH MOLTZ

David Seth Moltz is a unique and unconventional perfumer, breaking free from the traditional European perfumery heritage. With a background in music and no formal training in perfumery, David is a true industry pioneer. Alongside his wife, Kavi Durga, he co-founded the Brooklyn-based house D.S. & Durga in 2008, creating scents that tell stories of unusual landscapes and forgotten histories.

His perfumes testify to his unorthodox approach, capturing the essence of specific moments in time and space. For example, his fragrance El Cosmico, created for a trailer and teepee campsite in the remote high desert of West Texas, perfectly captures the area's essence.

David's unique approach has led to a loyal following and some of the very popular among perfume fans.
