CRISTIAN CALABRO

Cristian Calabro is an Italian independent perfumer known for his collaborations with modern major niche brands. His portfolio includes fragrances for The House of Oud, Anima Mundi, Bois 1920 and other independent brands. Among the first commercial launches he signed were the oriental compositions Ankh Sun Amon and Dûsara, created together with perfumer Andrea Casotti and released by the Italian brand Anima Mundi in 2017. This was followed by the fragrances Just Before, Each Other, Live in Colors and The Time, created by Calabro for the Italian-Arabian brand The House of Oud, known for its oriental-style compositions. This marked the beginning of the perfumer’s collaboration with the brand, as a result of which he developed eight fragrances for the project, including the hits Up To The Moon and Keep Glazed. 2019 brought two floral compositions for Roberto Ugolini - 17 Rosso and High Heel White, as well as a new product in the Anima Mundi line - woody-balsamic Triskell. In the same year, Calabro's first works for Bois 1920 were released - Cannabis, which reveals the theme of hemp, and its flanker Cannabis Fruttata. Later, the perfumer also created a new version of the popular composition - Cannabis Salata, which has a fougere structure and a greener sound. Among the latest works in Calabro's portfolio are Derby and 4 Rosso, which joined the Roberto Ugolini collection in 2021. Both fragrances were created in tandem with Italian perfumer Maurizio Cerizza.
