ENZO GALARDI
Enzo Galardi is an Italian independent perfumer, founder of the niche brands Bois 1920 and Odori. He was born and raised in Florence. He became interested in fragrances in early childhood - his grandfather was a perfumer and Enzo began to help him in the process of creating compositions early on. In the late 1980s, Galardi began collaborating with third-party companies, and in 2005, in memory of his grandfather, he founded the Bois 1920 brand, the goal of which was to revive the family heritage using the formulas of the first half of the 20th century. The debut line included six unisex fragrances, distinguished by their classic sound: fougères Agrumi Amari di Sicilia and Sandalo e The, woody compositions Real Patchouly and Extreme, as well as spicy Classic 1920 and Sushi Imperiale. In the following years, Galardi regularly added new products to the brand's collection, expanding the line to the women's Le Voluttuose series in pink bottles, and also introducing the Cannabis Collection, Collezione Youth and Elite series. Today, the brand's portfolio includes more than forty works, among the most popular are Cannabis, Come La Luna, Verde Di Mare and Sensual Tuberose. In 2008, Galardi presented a new project Odori, within the framework of which he released five compositions that same year - Tabacco, Zafferano, Spigo, Iris, Cuoio and Gli Odori. In 2013, Galardi was the author of the debut perfume line of the Italian interior design brand Baldi. The collection includes four fragrances: Ametista - a fruity chypre with citrus top notes and a floral heart that turns into a vanilla-musk base; Occhio di Tigre is an aromatic composition with shades of lavender, nutmeg, sage and patchouli; spicy Lapislazzuli with a complex fruity-floral pyramid opens with woody accords; Malachite is an oriental fragrance with notes of geranium, incense and cedar with benzoin and vanilla in the base. The design of the bottles used the stones after which the compositions were named. Among Galardi's latest works are fragrances for Italian niche brands IO.KO 1954 and Antiqua Firenze.
