Daniel Josier is a Spanish perfumer, founder of the niche brand Daniel Josier and the company L’Atelier del Perfume. Josier began his career in the perfume industry in 1997 when he joined Haarmann & Reimer (today part of Symrise). He held the position of manager in the company's creative department and was responsible for cooperation with market giants - LVMH, L'Oreal, Puig and UniLever. In 2004, Josier moved to Iberchem, a company specializing in the distribution of perfumes on the Spanish market. In 2008, Josier joined the staff of the French distributor Expressions Parfumees, working on the markets of Spain and Portugal. In 2009, he founded his own company L’Atelier del Perfume, which is engaged in the full cycle of creation and production of fragrances for third-party companies. In 2013, Josier launched his signature perfume brand Daniel Josier, for which he himself was the author of all the fragrances. The brand's debut line included three compositions: gourmand Vanille et Coco, woody Mystery Oud and fougere Interdit Absente. A year later, the collection was expanded with the mono-aromas Vetiver and Tuberose, complemented by richer versions of Golden Vetiver and Golden Tuberose. Today, the brand's line includes about two dozen compositions, among the most popular are Magnolia, Green Leather and Le Musk. In 2016, he created two compositions for the Czech brand Renier Perfumes - Crystal Rain and Black Rain. His portfolio also includes fragrances for niche brands Comporta Perfumes, Next Memory and Aller Perfumes. In 2021, the debut line of the Spanish brand History in Drops was released, which included six compositions created by Josier. These works are among the latest in the perfumer's portfolio to date.
