Jusbox is an Italian perfume brand founded by brother and sister Chiara and Andrea Valdo, owners of the creative agency V Monkeys. The creators are inspired by the art of music; each work is dedicated to an artist, piece or genre that has left a mark on the history of music. The brand's fragrances are released in a volume of 78 ml - a reference to the format of analog music discs that reproduce sound at a speed of 78 revolutions per minute, and the bottle cap looks like a vinyl record. The owner of the brand is the Italian manufacturer and distributor Beauty San. Creative directors call Jusbox compositions "olfactory melodies". The authors of the first works, released in 2015, were Antoine Lie and Dominique Ropion. Micro Love is dedicated to rock music, 14Hour Dream - to psychedelia and the key representative of the genre, the group Pink Floyd; Use Abuse is a tribute to glam rock, while Beat Cafe tells the story of folk and its followers, the beatnik generation. 2017 brought the brand four new products at once. Black Powder was inspired by Kurt Cobain's solo performance at the 1992 MTV Music Awards; Feel 'N' Chill conveys the relaxed atmosphere of lounge music on the coast of Ibiza, the chypre Feather Supreme is dedicated to the soul singer Aretha Franklin, and the oud Live 'N' Loud is dedicated to rock and roll aesthetics. In 2018, the brand expanded its collection with four new fragrances: Green Bubble, which embodies reggae, No Rules (punk), Golden Serenade (swing) and Cheeky Smile (acid house). Julien Rasquinet, Antoine Lie and Dominik Molhausen worked on the compositions. The brand's latest launches include the oriental perfume with a fruity accord Night Flow, dedicated to rap culture, and the floral-musky fragrance Siren & Sailors, a tribute to Amy Winehouse.
