JACQUES FLORI
Jacques Flori is a highly respected perfumer who has created some of the most beloved fragrances in the industry. He was born in France and showed an early interest in medicine, but he eventually left school to pursue his passion for yachting. However, he ultimately fell in love with perfumery and devoted his life to the art of fragrance creation.
Flori's journey in the perfume industry began when he was taken under the wing of Jean Mober, the owner of the fragrance house Robertet. Mober became a mentor to Flori, teaching him the skills and techniques needed to create beautiful fragrances. With Mober's guidance, Flori quickly became a talented perfumer in his own right.
Over the years, Flori has worked for many prestigious brands, including Acqua Reale, Amouage, Chacok, Etro, Jovoy Paris, M.INT, Orens, Parfums de Marly, Reminiscence, and Xerjoff. He is highly sought-after for his mastery of complex, beautiful incense scents, which have become a hallmark of his work.
Flori has created many beloved fragrances over the years, including Xerjoff Bouquet Ideale, Jovoy Paris Psychedelique, Pierre Balmain Ivoire, Jovoy Paris La Liturgie des Heures, and Amouage The Library Collection Opus IV. His work is highly regarded in the industry and is considered one of the most talented perfumers.
In addition to his work as a perfumer, Flori is known for his cheerful personality and willingness to mentor and teach other perfumers. He enjoys working with others who share his passion for fragrance creation and is always eager to take on new challenges.
Flori's love of the sea, mountains, and horses is often reflected in his fragrances, which frequently incorporate elements of these environments. He is grateful for the freedom of expression he enjoys at Robertet, where he is able to realize his ideas and create some of the most beautiful fragrances in the world.
