Emily Bouge is a perfumer at Robertet. The founder of the niche brands Bouge and Brecourt, the author of fragrances for Parfums Grès Paris, Salvador Dali, Miller Harris, Novellista, Esteban and other luxury and niche brands. She was born and raised in Provence in the family of the owners of the perfume company Bruno Court. She planned to get a technical education, but then decided to continue the family tradition and connect her life with the perfume industry. She graduated from ISIPCA, after which she was accepted to the staff of Charabot (today - part of Robertet) and began collaborating with major brands. Among her first works were compositions for Cathy Guetta and Currara. 2009 brought Little Kiss Cherry Salvador Dali, and a year later Caline Tender Moments was released, created by Bouge for Parfums Grès Paris. In 2010, proudly Emily, together with her sister Marie-Eugène, launched the niche brand Brecourt; The brand's name comes from the name of the company Bruno Court, which previously belonged to the Bouge family. Bouge worked on the brand's fragrances together with perfumer Jean-Marie Santantoni. In 2019, Bouge announced the launch of her new project, Bouge. In November of the same year, the brand's first works were released. The brand's style is built around the themes of seduction and forbidden pleasures; elements of pop art are used in the visual aesthetics and design of the bottles. The works have been criticized by the perfume community due to their obvious similarity to luxury and niche bestsellers of recent years. The brand's line includes the gourmand fragrance Drunk Cherry, the oriental La Vamp, the spicy Love Narcotic, the floral Lure, the fruity Pleasure and Rouge Bisou, as well as the woody-powdery perfume Top Secret. Today, Bouge works mainly for the Middle Eastern market; her portfolio includes works for Miller Harris, Novellista, Esteban and other luxury and niche brands.
