BENOIT BERGIA
Benoit was born and raised in Grasse in a family of hereditary perfumers. His great-great-great-grandfather was one of the few owners of his own plantations in the south of France, where they grew the best perfume ingredients, which were later used by the most famous perfume houses to create their fragrances. His father is the famous perfumer Henri Bergia. Absorbing the secrets of the art of perfumery from childhood, Benoit easily graduated from the famous Asfo school and built his career as a specialist in primary ingredients. "For me, perfumery is emotions. It is not a technical set of ingredients and formulas, but what happens inside a person, his feelings, thoughts, desires. Perfumery is not just “preparing” a fragrance, it is a real art, the creation of something new. That is why it seems to me that a perfumer can be called not just a Nose, but rather a Creator."
