The history of the Abdul Samad Al Qurashi brand began in 1932, when Abdul Samad Al Qurashi, heir to a family of perfumers dating back to the mid-19th century, opened his first shop selling perfumes and oils. His four sons later joined the business, and today the company owns a wide network of boutiques in Saudi Arabia, as well as stores in North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Since 2017, it has had a presence in the United States. The founder's son, Mohammed, is the head of the brand. Over the years, the brand has created several hundred fragrances, most of which have a traditional Arabic feel. Dominant notes of oud and incense are a distinctive feature of the compositions, harking back to the company's past experience in processing precious woods. Popular collections of recent years include Masari (Masari Pink, Masari Purple), The Legend (The Legend, The Legend Gold), Fragrance Wheel (Sandalwood, Taif Rose, Oud), and Safari, which includes the fragrances Safari L'Homme, Safari Incense, and Safari La Femme. One of the latest releases is a series of amber compositions: Amber Seal, Amber Vintage, and Amber Touch.
