ANDREA THERO CASOTTI

Andrea "Thero" Casotti is an Italian perfumer and the main perfumer of the Moresque brand. He was born as Andre Cassoti, but he adopted his artistic nickname "Thero" as a pseudonym for his perfumery work. Before Moresque was established in 2015, Casotti worked for CFF SpA, where he gained significant experience in perfumery. It was during this time that he met Cindy Guillaume, who shared his passion for oriental fragrances.

Together, they founded the Moresque brand, with Guillaume taking on the role of CEO and Casotti being responsible for the perfumes. Moresque is unique in its focus on the Moorish style, which was not represented in European perfumery before. The brand combines oriental aesthetics with Italian and French influences to create a unique and luxurious fragrance experience.

Casotti's creations are known for their unique and complex compositions that are inspired by his passion for oriental aromas. He has developed several popular fragrances for the Moresque brand, including Contessa, Seta, Diadema, Tamima, and Emiro. In addition to his work with Moresque, Casotti is also a perfumer for The House of Oud and Creative Flavours & Fragrances spa. He has created several popular fragrances for these brands, including Keep Glazed, Empathy, and Wonderly.
