Miroslav Petkov, a renowned Bulgarian perfumer, started his journey in the world of fragrance in his hometown of Plovdiv. His passion for creating unique fragrances and ambition to grow internationally eventually led him to leave Bulgaria and pursue his dreams abroad.

Petkov's first stop was Argentina, but within a year, he relocated to Spain, where his career truly took off. He gained recognition for creating the formulas for B9 and Soho perfumes, owned by the American company Bond No. 9. This success earned him the only Bulgarian in the exclusive circle of the world's most successful perfumers. Petkov developed nine more successful perfume formulas for the Dubai Collection series by Bond No. 9.

Currently working for the Spanish company Iberchem, Petkov focuses on the rich Middle Eastern markets. Still, his fine perfumery has clients across the globe, including the United States, Europe, Australia, and Asia.

In various interviews, Petkov has shared that his early experiences in the fragrance industry have shaped his creative preferences, particularly his fondness for the natural aromas of spices and balsams. He believes that the ultimate measure of a perfume's quality and success lies in the opinions of people, and thus, the creation of a scent heavily depends on the market it is intended for. Despite the numerous evaluations that direct the development of a fragrance, Petkov still values and maintains the freedom to experiment and explore new nuances.

Understanding that different cultures have unique attitudes towards fragrances, Petkov maintains the philosophy that "a good perfume is good everywhere."

Throughout his career, Miroslav Petkov has worked with brands such as Adleen Haute Parfumerie, Arabesque Perfumes, Arabian Oud, Attar Collection, Bond No 9, Floraïku, Ghalati, Headspace, La Maison Orientale, Odecla, and Xerjoff. Some of his most popular creations include Xerjoff Dolce Amalfi, Attar Collection Azora, Arabesque Perfumes Kohel, Xerjoff Cruz del Sur I, and Bond No 9 NoMad.
