CLEMENT MARX
Born on the French island of Corsica, raised in the south of France, near Grasse, the cradle of perfumery, and with his uncle's house among the lavender fields of the Luberon, Clément immersed himself in the world of fragrances from day one. Passionate about smells, Clément has always smelled and analysed everything, from his mother's cooking to his father's wine glass. But it was at the age of 18 that he decided that his future job would be as a perfumer.
After graduating as a mining engineer in Albi, Clément went to England to develop his knowledge of perfumery. His first experience gave him direct contact with consumers. It was by chance that he met Jean Charles Mignon, perfumer at Robertet UK, where Clément became his assistant perfumer.
A few months later, Clément joined Robertet's in-house perfumery school in Grasse. He then came to Paris, where he trained with master perfumers Jean François Latty and Michel Almairac.
Today, as a junior perfumer, he works between Paris and New York with artistic enthusiasm.
