The niche brand Initio Parfums Prive was founded by entrepreneur Nadja Benemar in 2015. The name is translated from Latin as “beginning”: according to the brand’s owner, Initio fragrances are inspired by “ancient perfumery art, when perfumes were used for their power and magic.” The brand’s concept is based on the influence of certain ingredients (for example, heliotropin, hedione or the Naturoprint molecule) on a person’s emotional state. The brand’s first fragrances — Absolute Aphrodisiac, Blessed Baraka, Mistic Experience and Divine Attraction from the Absolutes collection, as well as the Magnetic Blend line — were presented in 2015. A year later, the brand released Addictive Vibration, Side Effect and High Frequency. In 2017, one of Initio Parfums Prive's bestsellers, Psychedelic Love from The Carnal Blends collection, was released: its composition is built around hedione and heliotropin, notes of bergamot and rose, ylang-ylang and sandalwood. In 2018, as part of the Black Gold Project, the brand released Oud For Greatness, as well as Rehab eau de parfum in a white bottle (which is unusual for the design of the Initio perfume line).
