AMANDINE CLERC-MARIE

Amandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer who was born in Grasse, the birthplace of the French perfume industry. Her mother worked in the perfume industry, so Clerc-Marie was familiar with the world of fragrance from a young age. She later attended ISIPCA, a prestigious perfumery school in Versailles, where she studied the art of fragrance creation and learned about raw materials.

After completing her studies, Clerc-Marie began her career as a perfumer, working with Michel Almairac for more than ten years. She then joined the fragrance company Firmenich in 2011, where she continues to work as a senior perfumer.

Clerc-Marie is known for her ability to create fragrances that are both elegant and modern. Her work includes fragrances for some of the world's most prestigious fashion houses, such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Yves Saint Laurent, Lancôme, and Thierry Mugler.

Her most well-known creation is the new Chloé fragrance, which was released in 2008. Other popular works include La Nuit Trésor for Lancôme, Aura Mugler for Mugler, and Voce Viva for Valentino.

Clerc-Marie is a very visual person, and she often finds inspiration in movement, colors, and shapes. She also has a strong desire to have projects and is always on the move, whether it's traveling with her family or refurbishing her home. Her passion for shoes and handbags is well-known, and she refuses to count how many she owns.

Despite her success, Clerc-Marie remains modest and prefers not to talk about herself. For her, the most important thing is the process of creating a fragrance, from finding the initial idea to seeing the final product come together.
