Born into a world filled with enchanting aromas, Juliette Karagueuzoglou discovered her passion for scents at a young age. Her first scent memories include the smell of her parents' house, gardens and asphalt's distinct aroma after the rain. At the tender age of thirteen, Juliette realized that perfumery could be a career, and she decided to become a perfumer one day.

In pursuit of her dream, Juliette earned her BA in Chemistry. She later attended the prestigious ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur International du Parfum, de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique Alimentaire) in France. In 2006, she joined the IFF Perfume School in Grasse, France, and New York, where she honed her skills and developed her unique approach to perfumery.

Juliette Karagueuzoglou began her professional journey by working for Expressions Parfumées in Grasse. In March 2002, she joined International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) and climbed the ranks to become the Junior Perfumer of Fine Fragrances, Paris, in July 2007. She was awarded the Fashion Group International Rising Star Award in 2010 for her exceptional work and creative talent.

Throughout her career, Juliette has collaborated with various high-profile brands, such as Yves Saint Laurent, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Giorgio Armani, to name a few. Some of the most popular perfumes she has composed include Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme, Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina, and Yves Saint Laurent Tuxedo.

For Juliette Karagueuzoglou, a perfumery is an act of generosity. She aims to create olfactory markers that evoke vivid memories, provoke emotions, and stand the test of time, offering a form of eternity. She considers her ideas to be concepts, often challenging herself with exercises, such as using raw materials that start with a specific letter.

Juliette draws inspiration from various sources, including photographs, images, and the olfactory connections between raw materials. Synaesthetic links play a significant role in her creative process, allowing her to envision fragrances in her mind.

Her collaboration with Memo Paris began with exploring the beauty of woody essences and creating a sandalwood palace in the heart of Sherwood Forest. This unique approach to fragrance development has allowed Juliette to establish a lasting legacy in perfumery.
