MIZENSIR
Mizensir is a niche brand founded by Firmenich master perfumer Alberto Morillas, the author of CK One, Must de Cartier, Gucci Bloom and other hits of luxury houses. Since 1999, many perfumed candles have been released under the brand's name, and the debut collection of fragrances was released in 2013. Its name is a play on words: the letter "M" is the first in the author's surname, and mis en cire in French means "placed in wax". During the brand's existence, some of the first fragrances were discontinued; among those that can be found in the assortment now are Sweet Praline, White Neroli, dedicated to the daughter of Edition de Veronique and others. There is no clear conceptual connection between the compositions: within the framework of his brand, Morillas most often dedicates his works to his family and immediate environment, or to individual fragrant materials and perfumery trends (this is how the idea of a woody line was born, which included Bois Iridescent, Original Oud, Épine de Rose, etc., as well as powdery, floral and refreshing series). Among the latest launches of the brand are Lovely Alba, created for Morillas's daughter and granddaughter, neroli Solar Blossom (a memory of Seville), Incensum with ginger and incense, and floral-agar Golden Oud.
