    M. Micallef is a French niche brand founded in 1996 by artist Martine Micallef and her husband, financial consultant Jeffrey Nezhman. One of the brand's first releases was the Sashka fragrance line, which was soon discontinued, but the brand's success and recognition came in the 2000s, including thanks to its imaginative design and hand-painted bottles. In 2002, with the release of Watch and Gardenia, M. Micallef began working with its current in-house perfumer, Jean-Claude Astier: these and all subsequent compositions will be signed by him. In 2003, the brand presented the Les 4 Saisons collection, and in 2004, it presented the men's composition Aoud (later changed its name to Homme). The following year brought two important launches for the brand: the bestseller Gaiac and the women's fragrance Ananda, which began one of the brand's successful collections. In 2006-2007, M. Micallef focused on men's launches: following Avant-Garde, Red Sea appeared, which became part of Les 4 Saisons, as well as Note Ambré. In 2008, they were joined by the bestseller Royal Muska. The brand celebrated 2009 with the presentation of the new G. Nejman collection (it was formed by Le Professionnel, Le Sportif and Le Seducteur) and a gift fragrance from Jeffrey Martin - Mon Parfum. In 2012, the portfolio was joined by the hit Ylang in Gold and the limited Art Collection Vanille, which began the tradition of releasing collector's editions. 2013 was the year of the flanker Mon Parfum Cristal and Art Collection 2013 - the duet Rouge No. 1 and Rouge No. 2 in scarlet bottles decorated with Swarovski crystals. At the same time, a joint launch with the House of Denis Durand Couture (Denis Durand Le Parfum) and the Royal Vintage composition are released. The following year, the history of limited duets continues with the “mosaic” Art Collection 2014 (Puzzle No. 1 and Puzzle No. 2, according to the brand, symbolized “the game of life and love”). 2015 brings the oriental Akowa for men; the brand addresses women with the gourmand Ananda Dolce. In honor of its 20th anniversary in 2016, the brand releases the first works of the Secrets of Love line, as well as independent compositions Pure Extreme, Osaïto and 20 years. 2017 brings M. Micallef clients 6 launches in the new Collection Vanille, Jacaranda in a bottle strewn with 200 Swarovski crystals, a flanker Ananda Tchaï and an invitation to the brand’s first boutique-workshop in Grasse. In 2018, the brand's founder presented a collaboration with Russian artist Alex Doll, and released the composition Spiritual as part of Secrets of Love. Another notable release of the year was the flanker Mon Parfum Pearl. In 2019, the brand presented Collection Botanique, the fragrance DesirToxic and a limited edition of Pure Extrême bottles, painted based on Marian Vanderbosch's painting Spring.
