MEMO
Memo Paris is a French niche brand founded in 2007 by Clara and John Molloy. The brand's name is related to the English word "memory" and indicates its concept: fragrances inspired by memories. The cosmopolitanism of the brand is reflected in the origins of the founders - Clara's family has French-Catalan roots, John is Irish. The brand began its history with the compositions Inlé, Lalibela and Siwa, which later became part of the Les Échappées and Graines Vagabondes collections; Sundance, released at the same time, was discontinued a few years after its launch. In 2008, the brand presented two duets of fragrances: citrus-fruity Jannat, inspired by the idea of the Garden of Eden, and its continuation in the form of a fragrant haze for children Jannat Baby, as well as a limited pair of Voyages Naturels, consisting of compositions on the theme of Argentine grapefruit and Italian orange blossom. In 2009, the brand presented the first work of the new Cuirs Nomades collection, dedicated to various interpretations of the leather theme - in Moon Fever, the central chord is complemented by shades of orange and verbena. In the following years, the brand focused on the development of the Les Échappées series, but already in 2013 it returned to the leather note in Irish Leather and Italian Leather, which later became some of the most successful compositions of the brand, and in 2014-2015 it presented the continuation of Graines Vagabondes - the fragrances Kedu and Ilha do Mel. A year later, in the summer of 2016, the brand opened its own boutique in Paris on rue Cambon and presented the Art Land collection, and for its own 10th anniversary in 2017, it released a leather-tea composition Eau de Memo and announced the launch of diffusers and aromatic candles in the form of tea set items. By the end of the decade, Memo re-releases Jannat and Siwa, and also presents hair mists and a new line, The Flying Collection - the fragrances from it are inspired by the feeling of flight and transport the thought to different parts of the world - from the home of the brand's founders in Paris to the African deserts and Siberia.
